The two most popular web browsers are Firefox and Google Chrome. I use neither of these at home. I would use Google Chrome do to the fact that it is very fast. VLC media player is an lightweight, open-source multimedia player that supports nearly all digital audio and video formats. I would use this instead of iTunes or windows media player because it is free. I would use a flash drive to load all of my programs rather than the hard drive because you can take all of your favorite programs wherever you go. The most useful applications for me would probably be Google Chrome, Skype, Audacity, and AssaultCube. Schools may thinks that running software off of a USB is a bad idea because you can get software that is not allowed at your school.
